OK, those are the preferences of VLC itself. They disappear too quickly as that I could change anything, but now, having had a close look, I could see that the box is unchecked.

P.S. Sorry not to get immediately the right words, my interface is French...

Either it's not there or I sleep with open eyes. Checked both normal and Cyanogen options.

Sorry, how do I do that? Do I finally have to compile? Or starting from command-line with a parameter?

That's everything that happened _after_ initial logcat output, when I started VLC again and it crashed again.
Is that enough, or do you need the whole log including the indexation process?

Just installed the latest nightly v6-nofpu VLC-debug.apk, 7927207 bytes, sha1sum 9c708b0bf2eb5d5e0454f929f19e689d5bb6c125. Still quits about three seconds after indexation finished, and... Hello, it would be great if someone could put up an APK file for direct download, or upload VLC (beta or final) to f-droid.org.
I'd like to test on my Geeksphone Zero but it's not registered with any Google service.
