Re: micro-stuttering at Direct3D using

Use aero and D3D. If you don't, use dIrectdraw output.
Ok but I got no any micro-stutter (m-s)... after ~half-minute I got m-s while I was reading subtitle by TXT actived running D3D. :(

Re: micro-stuttering at Direct3D using

Have you same problem D3D using running 60fps@60Hz?

But I got no issue film with 30 fps at 60Hz but yes with 60 fps at 60Hz. If 60 fps "follows" 60 Hz then it may make stutter except AERO enabled.

May you investigate my issue?

Re: micro-stuttering at Direct3D using

ADDED: AERO disabled, (video has) 60 fps at 60 Hz: ISSUE!!

AERO enabled, I got pure-smooth motion (=50fps@50Hz or 60fps@60Hz or... v-sync needed). :)

Re: micro-stuttering at Direct3D using

AERO is disabled
75Hz: no issue
60Hz: no issue
50Hz: issue!! - see log - my previous message

Problem found is issue with micro-stutter at 50Hz! But AERO enabling, I got no micro-stutter.

PS: Admin can't run at 50Hz because he/she may not have CRT monitor nor LCD monitor Sony. ;)

Antenna (DTT signal) problem causes artifacts... when this problem will be fixed, I will post log.

NOTE: antenna problem does NOT cause micro-stutter.

Re: Freeze due to auto aspect ratio (DVB-T)

Can you fix incorrect aspect ratio for default (except videos mpeg-2, mpeg-4/h.264... files without DVB-T)?

Re: Freeze due to auto aspect ratio (DVB-T)

Ok. I tried to run new 2.0.2 but it didn't fix default (auto) incorrect aspect ratio. :? You see with ATTENTION if you detect incorrect aspect ratio (not codec info but debug only).

Re: Freeze due to auto aspect ratio (DVB-T)

I can't reproduce the issue. It's playing fine for me using VLC 2.0.2 nightly build, with the correct aspect ratio for all programs.

And the file itself is using standard resolutions
How do I show my video info in VLC? Or other program such as MediaInfo?

Re: Freeze due to auto aspect ratio (DVB-T)

TDT PT is using H.264/MPEG-4 codec. Force the number of FFmpeg threads to 1: Menu Tools -> Preferences (Show Settings = ALL) -> Input/Codecs -> Video Codecs -> FFmpeg Or try this build without changing the FFmpeg threads: http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/vlc-2.0.2-/ I changed FFmpeg from 0...

There is no way that we can watch at Portuguese DVB-T as none of us is living in Portugal. Please record a short sample with the Record button and upload it to either http://streams.videolan.org/upload/ or to MirrorCreator.com or to EmbedUpload.com , so it will upload the file for you to several ot...
