i just found out a very easy way to do this. use quick time, it is the way that it should be. what i mean is vlc over complicates things & quick time player does not

ok thank you for the reply, it is really confusing to me because what i have seen is say the thumbnail had a picture for quite some time (months) then all of a sudden the pic is gone & it is green. so why is it that this only happens to some & not all of them?

this might not be the answer that you want but you could try starting the 1st film & click full screen then just click the 2nd, 3rd, etc. all that you want to play, when you have done that click the fast forward or next button going right back to the 1st film & let them play thru to the end ...
