Re: Video+Audio Capture not working in 2.0.9/2.1.x

Is there a work around for this?

I have to assume if simultaneous Video and Audio capture was exposed in the OSX VLC UI that it must work in some configuration?

Re: Blackmagic/Camtwist and 2.1.x VLC needs 32bit

Thanks for the reply. Under 10.6, the capture drivers are 32bit, but from what I have read, they are 64bit in the drivers for 10.7 and later. I was hoping to stay with 10.6 on my media mac as several things break, or don't work as well under 10.7 and later (Front Row for example)

Re: upgrades on Mavricks hang on "Installing update"

I saw the same behavior going from 2.1 to 2.1.1 on Retina MacBook Pro.

Video+Audio Capture not working in 2.0.9/2.1.x

I have not been able to get simultaneous video+audio capture to work on OSX. Under VLC 2.0.9, it had to be done via command line. Now with 2.1, the UI supports it. But, in both cases, this is the error generated: main error: slave[0] doesn't like DEMUX_GET_TIME -> EOF main debug: slave 0 EOF To dupl...

Blackmagic/Camtwist and 2.1.x VLC needs 32bit

The Blackmagic Intensity drivers only present capture devices in VLC if VLC is set to launch in 32bit. As of 2.1, I don't see a 32/64 bit version. If I want to use the later versions on VLC, will I have to compile my own to get a 32bit version? The same goes for CamTwist. VLC can't see the camtwist ...

Re: VLC 2.0.1 - difficulty recognizing Blackmagic

I have the same card and similar tower. The only way I could get VLC to recognize the card was to set VLC to launch in 32bit mode. (Get info on the App to set it.) You may need to make sure you have the 64/32 bit version instead of just the 64 bit version in order to set that flag. I then get a list...

Re: Can I watch live streaming in iPhone using VLC

RTSP urls are redirected from Safari on iOS to VLC, I haven't tried a mms url though. It has been ages since I've had an RTSP stream work though. Just one day it stopped and never worked again. That was with the VLC that was on the App store briefly. I tried again with the VLC from Cydia, but only b...

Re: OSX Blu-ray playback and libaacs working?

Thanks for your reply Felix. I'm eager to hear the announcements coming this month. I did have one other thought... If I did have the correct VUK for the disc, and I treated the disc as a folder in VLC (Opening it from the shell instead of the GUI, with the correct lib env variable set), I wonder if...

OSX Blu-ray playback and libaacs working?

Is there any way to get blu-ray playback working in OSX VLC 2.0.1? The last post from feepk in another thread mentioned that he didn't think libaacs currently worked on Mac. I have gotten as far as the "Missing keys?" error message, but can't get any further. The same drive with the same d...
