I would like to be able to use current builds of VLC but I like the scrolling the way it used to work too much. I mean, when you set mouse wheel to position control in the options, if you roll the wheel on video you get a slower scroll speed, and if you roll the wheel while hovering over the progres...

VLC 3.0.2 still has this bug. 2.2.8 is the last version that the works properly.

I have this problem too with VLC 3.0.0. On previous versions it, if I used the scroll wheel for position control, it would scroll 1 minute 15 seconds if the mouse cursor was directly on the progress bar...and only 3 seconds if the cursor was anywhere else.
