Changing video output module fixes the issue. But "automatic" video output module is broken/bugged

Since 3.0.20 most 4K HEVC HDR10 movies are displaying a blank/black video output. The audio works as normal. It occurs even with hardware acceleration disabled

Thanks for the reply. I timed it to pretty much 5 seconds. The current channel pauses, it waits for a second, then a black screen with the VLC icon shows briefly and finally the new channel starts to play. When you take Bluray PGS subtitles which were originally on a 1080p Bluray, and mux them with a 720p encode of same, the position and size is wrong.

They appear in the lower right corner and too big.

MPC-HC correctly positions them in the centre and at the correct scale.
