Allright, at interface settings there's an option to make VLC's playback pause when minimized.

But why isn't there a single key to minimize VLC? There's no such command at "Configure Hotkeys" section of VLC preferences.

As stated before, VLC can't natively play most of interlaced VC-1 content and the DMO feature might be broken.

I do not understand the frame positionning question. You mean the fullscreen controller? Yup, the one with which you can jump onto a certain position on video's timeline. Also, is it me, or does putting an output for "OpenGl" makes picture look less qualitative? It's like shades of lights...
