vlc 2.0.4, 2.0.5, 2.0.6, 2.0.7 they all crash.. also tried 1.1.9 all the same.. solution??? how can i do a script that will autostart stream after crash?

can you tell me how to remove vlc 2.0.5 and install 2.0.6.. im running a ubuntu desktop with teamviewer i dont want to screw anything up

haha yes.. im just trying to figure out whats going on.. why always some spesific channels that crash but others ok.. :S

also.. Segmentation fault (core dumped) is that problem with memory? i have 2 GB ram is it wort it to add 2GB more?

it could be a signal problem on some channels but even channels with good signal crash but it works longer..

is there maybe a script that i can do to stop stream and start let say always at 04:00..

so here is the think i have a dvb-t card and a windows pc been streaming on there for 3 months without a crash.. now i have.. ubuntu 12.04 + vlc 2.0.5 + tbs 6984 = CRASH it will stream 12-48h the streams are usually be dead the next day can someone plz help me with this ive been trying for months an...

ok.. it ran for almost 2 hours then it started.. i disabled the audio on the streaming it continues pixelating for some time.. i enable the audio again and it works perfectly cpu went from 100 to 38-45

if i leave buffer on 300ms and skip mux caching i get thousand of main warning: late buffer for mux input (27038) main warning: late buffer for mux input (1794954) errors but the audio and video is very good.. and also when this drift happens the audio is still in sync i really cant see anything wro...

you think that if i can sync the audio the problem will be solved??

im not getting sound with blackmagic audio in vlc thats why im doing it the other way

but i dont care if the audio goes out of sync if it just doesnt affect the video is there no way to disable resampling or something like that?

or to get the blackmagic audio to work???

did another test.. 4 hours running now without sound not a single problem..
