Re: Wrong track order, please help!

we're not complaining, we're trying to solve an issue we have. Indeed, thank you. Current workaround for me is actually using drag+drop instead of select>rightclick>add to VLC. Mysteriously this works OUT OF EXPLORER... Still, bad enough though, that it's not possible to explore the library...

Re: Default Playlist sorting

Sorry, did not realize this is a Linux thread. Anyway, I don't adress you personally. This is just a place to report problems. So don't tell people " I have no idea what you mean. Everything works fine here. " if you did not even look at the issue. But I doubt that it is Windows-related th...

Re: Wrong track order, please help!

Then why do other media players manage the same task without such unwanted results?

Re: Default Playlist sorting

Please try the following: - open any folder containing some mp3's with explorer - sort them by whatever you like - select all tracks and rightclick>add to VLC playlist - go to VLC playlist and you will find a random order - go back to the same folder in eplorer again - select all tracks and rightcli...

Re: Default Playlist sorting

You can debate whether this is right or wrong, but it seems like every other multimedia player does what any sensible user would and should expect. Agreed, really not expected behaviour, neither intuitive nor logical to a user. This has long been fixed in VLC 1.2 prereleases. Though in some ...

Re: strange behaviour / Explorer-like view

1. is fixed in 2.0.2 - Thanks, expected release date? Now please, when can we expect official version (no nightly). When clicking on My Computer>My Music WITHIN VLC, the folders are shown, but without arrows in front for the subfolders. So I have to double-click a folder which makes the current tit...

Re: Wrong track order, please help!

This is a serious issue which *HAS* to be fixed. I don't believe this is intentional, as all other players I know keep the selected order. Selecting the same set of tracks twice leads to two different track orders in playlist. So it is clear that VLC puts them in random order, following no r...

strange behaviour / Explorer-like view

Hi Fellas, I have two problems on my PC (Windows 7 Pro, 64Bit) with VLC 2.0.1: - When adding a title or folder WITHIN VLC from My Computer>My Music by rightclick>add to playlist, the title is added 11 times. This does not happen when adding files to playlist from Explorer (that works ok). - When cli...
