May 17 released a patch (alpha version)
allows you to use the GPU via OpenCL

Well, I do not agree :) Cuda uses many cores (average 200-400 cores), the CPU currently uses an average of 4-8 cores. CPU processes the data sequentially in 4-8 threads depending on how many cores, and the data that have no time to be processed are placed in the cache. In many practical examples of ...

x264 codec is used in the project OpenMCU (openmcu.ru)
There is a strong desire to use the Cuda (Nvidia) and OpenCL (Ati, Intel ...) the priority of course use the Cuda. Will there be support for Cuda in X264?
