Bump. I actually may have an idea of what could be going on. I just noticed that my system clock is 30 minutes off. After timing it, it seems as though I am losing 7 seconds to the minute with my latest BIOS update. Would I be correct that vlc somehow uses the system clock for timing purposes on bot...

I am having a very similar problem to the gentleman in this thread: http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=98636&p=330207#p330207 It seems to have started after a BIOS update; however, reverting back to the previous BIOS has not corrected the issue. I am having the issue on Windows 7...
