To be able to watch all disks of any region you need an RPC1 drive and software that does not enforce region coding. In VLC you have the software part of the puzzle. Hello :-) VLC itself doesn't suffer from the DVD region bug, however, it can't do anything about what is enforced in hardware by your DVD drive. If your DVD drive supports RPC2 and is set to a specific region and the disk you are trying to play uses RPC2 to enforce region coding for another region ...
