ive noticed this too. if columbo is on itv. in SD it's 4:3. in HD it's 16:9 with bars at the side.
i just assumed that hd was always broadcast in 16:9.
aye no gpu option in dropdown for mnths, ive now seen the thread about it not being included in builds, just a bit strange its not been included for so long oh just remembered nod32 is the cause of my hard drive fillin up when watchin streams, i knew there must have been a reason i uninstalled nod32...
in recent 2.1.0 builds for dreambox http streams. any way to change dir from c:// drive (my ssd)? its filling up quick lol
no build i have tried in mnths has hardware decoding
other than those problems 2.1.0 runs very well for me.
hi, i have a feature request, if this isn't possible to do already i've been using wallpaper mode recently and its annoying that the video window opens up everytime i change playlist file from a shortcut. I would like vlc to stay in the system tray all the time, not just when it starts, unless i cli...
yes, i think you are right. Done some tests in preparation for a few bug reports. I think the root of my problem lies in the src resampler, using any sinc function results in losing the audio at some point. currently switched to zero order hold and audio has not dropped out yet. AV sync is 100%, vlc...
it plays dreambox streams out of sync from the start and has done for 6mnths or so :( it's only a little but occurs 100% of the time. i've uploaded files before. play any of them and you should have the same problem. Audio also randomly disappears until a new stream is played or stream is restarted ...
directx gives me perfect fullscreen playback on primary or secondary monitor, 1080i yadif 2x, no hardware acceleration. opengl is better than direct3d.
if you can get unchoppy vid with a maximized window then you could set the window size to 1920x1080 and remove window decoratations
not 4/9. tripped out there. it's the 5/9 that is working better. i've been changing that many settings and versions that i'm not entirely sure what's helping and what isn't. basically ive got to a point where the stream plays with bob deinterlacing without constant noticable little skipping. i seem ...
4/9 no other 2.1 comes as close to flawless 50fps. shame the audio drops out. setting directx and stereo from defualt 5.1 didnt fix it. 2.0.4 doesnt suffer this problem. audio disappears and there is no volume control on screen when audio is on digital or internal. later versions of 2.1 revert back ...
the latest 2.1 is playing interlaced network streams on a secondary monitor the best yet. video smooth, audio in sync. nice work i have tried a few new settings, back to embedded video, continuous stream in access modules and turned hurryup off, not sure if they make a difference. For me it's runnin...
hello, i haven't updated them for a while and am still using these ones. viewtopic.php?f=14&t=103339&p=349579#p349579
no paraolympic streams and a few itv regions maybe a broken, but pretty much all of them are there.
try using vlc 2.0.4 also if your source is interlaced, add deinterlace into the mix for a better stream, i use bob or linear which double the framerate to 50fps could try unparking the cpu cores or try these drivers if u have an nvidia card http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/29712-geforce-30568-...
basically the playlists are for sat channels broadcast in the uk, for the pay tv channels a subscription is needed. The streams come from the sat box, in my case a dreambox.
sure, here's the bouquets for an enigma2 dreambox for astra 28.2e. upload with dbe or similar. http://www.fileduct.net/lgsmffdv44l4 and here's the playlist. (to replace the one in roaming/vlc) first change ip addresses with something like textcrawler to dreambox ip. http://www.fileduct.net/t3u36yw54t...
add them to the media library, will be saved in the order you put them in, but can be reordered if you wish. that's how i handle dreambox streams. when you have the playlist setup, backup ml.xspf in roaming/vlc folder, it's not possible to open vlc @ the media library tho you should end up with some...
Hi, didn't see your reply. if you don't have the video embedded, yes u can change stream while it is playing :) The bouquets are downloaded from the net, i just split them up and make them into a vlc media library. Here's my ml.xspf. Olympic Streams are included. Just change the ip addresses to that...
here's a few. disable network/clock sync. increase network cache, dont use yadif x2 on hd source, use opengl if fullscreen on second monitor. don't use post processing. don't use hardware accel. could try vlc 2.0.2
