thanks. i also saw a post about 64-bit plugin not working. i guess its confirmed. modifying native player was my second option, any chance u will post yr code as an extension? (i am hesitant to embark on it without knowing how difficult it might be to send in-out points plus a few descriptive fields...

I too am looking for a similar way to retrieve data from VLC web-plugin
-- has anyone out there written an extension for this?

(and also wondering if plugin is actually functioning on Mac 64-bit browsers)
