I've tried to send the bug/crash report several times, but VLC just crashes again at that point, also the "send a report to apple" doesn't function when vlc crashes.

Weird. They work fine for me. The real problem I've having now with 1.19 is it did not overwrite v.2.01! Now when I try to play a file, it asks me which version of VLC to use. Same problem here. I'm running OS X 10.5.8. and the new VLC barely functions at all. Before this I've had no problems.
