wait. the problem is that the preferences keeps losing the direct draw request and defaulting back to something. that is even though I hit save and hit reset preferences. it doesn't stay in that mode.

I just DL'd 2.0.1 and , playing an avi or anything else, it gives me a jagged pixilated unreadable colorful screen for video; and perfect audio. I have windows xp sp3. .
