I have currently vlc 2.0.2 nightly installed, seems to have no problems so far, apart from the win32 waveout extension output problem...oh could it be a new bug?

I have noticed this.... I have tryed git versions, from 1.2.0-1.3.0-2.0.0-2.1.0 and the stutter/hiccup problem is still there, but versions 2.1.0 git versions the win32 waveout extension output, there is really severe stuttering, enough that there is almost no sound...it only seems to hiccup/stutter...

No, it still hiccups/stutters... And there doesn't seem to be a driver issue....i am running latest realtek high definition audio drivers, version 2.67... or is there a newer drivers available? or nightly build drivers etc... also running latest nvidia drivers too, current running version...on the w...

oh BTW,

I have just tested today's 2.0.2 nightly build.

Problem still there..... audio stuttering/hiccuping on same movie and mp3 file....

anyway why new versions? ever heard of the saying "don't fix if it is not broken"? or " don't add anything if it is working great"?

these were the files used for testing 2.0.0 & 2.0.1, bothe versions cause audio hiccuping/stuttering.

play same files on 1.1.11, they play absolutely perfectly, no audio stuttering/hiccuping AT ALL!

since 2.0.0 this mp3 distortion/stutter/hiccup/jitter problem has STILL NOT BEEN SORTED! SORT IT OUT VIDEOLAN PLEASE!

OH I FORGOT IT IS NOT IN YOUR PRIORITY LISTINGS! FIX IT PLEASE!

I have tested 2.0.1, audio stuttering in mp3 & watcign avi movies with mp3/ac3 sound.

How long will it take beofre it fixed?
