Are you sure you're looking in the right folder for the file ? In the latest version of the VLC player, it should be in folder MyVideos>RealTimes>RealDownloader. Or do a search in Win Explorer, using "vlc-record" which is what all saved files start with.

I have lost the ability to Record video clips from DVD's - this has just happened recently. Procedure seems to go normally. When I try and play the recorded clip 1) Windows media player either won't play it at all, or it's scrambled and 2) Playing it with the VLC player, there is no video, only audi...

Is it possible to resave clips after they have been modified by the various video tools (rotation, colors, etc.) ?

Even Bookmarks seem to disappear after a clip is closed.
