Playlist contains moving images (i.e. short movies) and still images. Movies play normally but still images do not display, just get the orange cone. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello. I am trying to set Loop Mode as the default when VLC is opened each time. Otherwise, it has to bet set manually each time I open it. Is there are way to do this?
