It seems that 0.8.6 still doesn't have teletext subtitles support. Is there any progress on that?

I use VLC on Windows to watch IPTV provided by my ISP (multicasted MPEG2 stream). Some channels/programs contain DVB subtitle streams (dvbs), but when I select them from Video->Subtitles, nothing ever happens. Sorry for digging up a month-old thread, but this is really great. What are the recent developments? Can we look forward to having teletext subtitles in VLC in the near future? It seems that lots of people are looking forward to such functionality.

Mmm, perhaps that wasn't the problem after all. Seems that this stream has an incorrect PTS or PCR in one of it's substreams.
