Re: VLC activeX plugin and mouse click events

Please see the fbvlc project being developed by RSATom - this is a VLC web browser plugin based on FireBreath. The plugin will allow overlay of transparent elements on the video and relay of mouse events to the browser too. Compatible with all browsers. This is a new project and there are still bugs...

Re: VLC activeX plugin and mouse click events

According to RSATom (http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=77515) there is currently no way to register mouse clicks on the embedded VLC window within the browser. His fix for the addEventListener is applied to the current branch, but this method only supports the internal MediaPlayerxx...

Re: VLC 2.0.0 for Win32 playback fails on 128MB video card

Also - previously we used VLC 1.1.x to playback the same RTSP streams (H.264 720p 25fps video) on this same machine with the same video card, without problems.
We could not get 1.1.12+, 1.2, 1.3, 2.0 or 2.1 releases to work at all, so it seems like maybe some problem was introduced after 1.1.11.

Hi, VLC 2.0.0 could not playback an RTSP stream correctly on a Windows XP SP3 32bit 4GB machine with a dual-head 128MB video card installed. The initial symptom was that only one corrupted frame of the video was displayed (about a quarter showing the correct video and the rest scrambled), then VLC p...

Re: vlc.addEventListener does not fire any event

Re: vlc.addEventListener does not fire any event

We are using the VLC 2.1.0 Mozilla plugin with Firefox, and we noted the same problem. i.e. we cannot get event handlers to register clicks on the embedded video image in the browser. This would be really useful to us, since we could use it to place markers on the incoming video, etc. Your patch sou...
