Yes on my system (latest Mac Pro) it is completely unusable, which is a great shame, given the huge amount of voluntary work that has gone into it.

Further experimentation reveals that not every clip is affected. However clips on the same camera taken within a few minutes of each other may display the problem or may not. The only possible factor might be whether the OIS system was actively doing anything at the time. Shots taken on a tripod see...

I have grabs of two adjacent frames from a boat-building video which played just fine under the previous VLC version - Panasonic camera this time - shewing a so-so image and a completely unviewable image. How do I share them?

I have just downloaded VLC2.0.0. Previously VLC worked wonderfully for, inter alia, AVCHD and .ra files.
