I upgraded from the previous release version via the installer and checked the clear settings box. I'll give it a shot again but I don't expect anything different. Are there any additional procedures that might help?

I have reproduced this issue using VLC 2.0.0 release. It is not the HT issue mentioned in another thread. It goes away if I disable GPU acceleration. It seems to be limited to AVC. I can work with you on uploading a sample that exhibits the issue if that would be helpful. Win7 x64. Using Intel i3-21...
