Let's hope we will go further then ! In the meantime I'll be resorting to workarounds such as using a read-only playlist, or if even this fails maybe switch back to v2, sadly...

Titles in media library are automatically modified since v3, how can I disable this ?

Dear forum readers, I recently upgraded my VLC from 2.2.6 to 3.0.3. Now suddenly all my entries' titles in the media library get automatically modified when I read them. How can I keep the titles to something of my choosing, like it used to be before v3 ? FWIW, the entries are mainly DVB-T multiplex...

Thanks for your reply ! I want all elementary streams of a program. Are you saying it's impossible with VLC ? I doubt this, since using the options mentioned in the first case gives me indeed an MPEG TS file containing all the elementary streams of the desired program. Not using sout-all would give ...

Hi Cesar ! I'm far from being an expert in VLC streaming, but if I were you I would remove that ttl option, or set ttl=-1 (which lets the OS decide itself on the TTL), and go unicast for the time being, no multicast. Setting ttl to 2 would necessarily fail if you communicate via internet, since ther...
