I think ypou miss understood....maybe I wasnt clear....my problem comes with the :sout...etc command where I want to stream a file...But as i can understand I smust alter the vlc-glue.cc file as mentioned above....

Does your campus LAN (the routers) let UDP packets be forward?

Hi all I came accross with another problem... The win32 jvlc seems to work (some times) but I get the following error "Java.exe - Unable to locate Component" "This application has failed to start because libvlc.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem" ...

Problem solved

it appears that some libraries weren't copied at the /lib/vlc folder so using
cp -r etc (copy this there) the problem solved....the error must be reletad with the Makefile but i heve'nt done any changes on it

Have you ./configure with --enable-sout?

Hi all I'm a new member in this forum and I would like at first to salute everyone...Now my problem

I try to use JVLC but when I try to use make for jvlc I get the following error

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ljawt

Does anyone have an idea why this is happening????
