Ok, thanks. I was using the context menu. Maybe an option? When launched twice from the context menu: pop up - allow 2nd session?
Or in preferences, multiple sessions from context menu, or something.

Sometimes I wish to compare a number of YouTube video tutorials, that might have been downloaded twice (slightly different names and extensions).
Right now I have to open one, close it and open the other.
Would it be possible to run two sessions of VLC ?

When double clicking an .amr file, VLC is launched, the file is played, but the screen remains black.

With me VLC is listed as trusted application under Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) 2012 under Settings->Firewall->Settings->Application Rules->Network Rules. It has permission for any network activity (in- outbound).

Same here, downloading v.2.0.2 twice, won't install, VLC downloadpanel closes. When launching VLC it states it crashed, asking to send crashreport. THen it says it can't.
