Hello The DJ,

I read in the changelog that new file formats are supported through new decoders. Does that mean that transcoding of those files is also supported?

I think particularly about WMV3 and Flash Video but also about FLAC whose transcoding does not work.

To add information, I use Windows XP and VLC 0.8.5. I also tried with a nightly from 0.9.0 few weeks ago and it behaves the same.

Hello, i'm trying to transcode a flac file but doing so, i am unable to hear the sound from the file. the only sound I have is some noise. I have these information in the messages : "stream_out_transcode debug: drift is too high, resetting master sync" It appears multiple times per seconds...

Hi,

I have forgotten to say that the crash which occurs everytime I try to read that *.mov file occurs on a Windows XP SP2 machine. I have not tested under another OS. A Windows popup appears saying that VLC crashed and then VLC is automatically closed.
