I would like to be able to set speeds for the faster and slower commands. For example I would like to be able to set repeated fasters to go to 1.5x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 6x , 8x, etc. This is the only one I really care about, as for previewing some [most mp4's] I find 4x not quite fast enough but 8x too fast...

1 is already doable in 1.2.

How? I can't find it in View/Customize Interface or Preferences/Interface.

2. I don't understand, but you have the playlist in right click menu in 1.2

I haven't checked 1.2, but you do understand I want a hover-popup, not an open-in-new-window command.
