I can't see an option to disable subtitles. There isn't direct option for that. There is a Subtitles track ID field, set it to 0. I know, but where is the Subtitles track ID option because I can't find it. I am looking in: Tools -> Preferences -> (click All) -> Input / Codecs -> Subtitle codecs -> ...

ok so I typed it wrong, or it changed in 1.1.11 (which I just upgraded to so can't check if what I wrote was a typo)

Anyway, in 1.1.11 now,

Tools -> Preferences -> All -> Input/Codecs -> then where?

I can't see an option to disable subtitles.

I have this same problem, however in Tools -> Preferences -> All -> Audio Codecs -> Subtitles I can't see any option for Subtitles Track or Subtitles Track ID options.

VLC 1.1.10

Very annoying to have to manually disable subtitles every time I play a video.
