Has there been any work on DTS HD Master yet? Just bought the extended editions of The Lord of the Rings and ripped them onto my hard drive. Really like to be able to watch the .m2ts files in 6.1 DTS HD Master!

It's playing them back, but my computer upsamples everything to 192kHz/24bit anyway, so not sure if VLC is playing them back in full resolution, or downsampling them before the video/sound card upsamples them.

They're in FLAC.

Not a problem, just wondering if VLC supports something? I've been downloading some music off hdtracks.com and some of it is 192kHz/24bit. The audio portion of my video card supports this, as does my A/V receiver, but can VLC play it back in FULL 192kHz/24bit?

Another question. Why is it when I rip the entire Blu-Ray disc, I can't get the menu to show up in VLC? I have to drill down into the stream folder, and play individual files. I want to load it up just as if I'd put the actual, physical Blu-Ray disc in.

TrueHD is just MLP, we support that.

Does it support 7.1 as well? And any plans to support 5.1/7.1 DTS HD-Master?

How do I get VLC (1.1.11 for 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate) to do FULL Blu-Ray playback? I rip all of my Blu-Rays, and keep them on my hard drive. Sometimes it's the full disc, and sometimes it's just the file itself, in .m2ts format. I want VLC to output in 1080p/24 and 7.1 DTS-HD Master and Dolby-TruH...
