Has anyone found a fix for this bug? I cant get VLC to start up quickly either. Version 1.1.11

Did that. It still opens slow, although it opens very quickly in Safe Mode. The previous version had no issues on my system. What did they change with the newest version? I get the feeling it is conflicting with something, maybe a windows update.

Updated my VLC media player to version 1.1.11 The Luggage, but now it takes over two minutes to load the player. Once the player is loaded, it plays the movie clips very well, though. Any fixes to the problem of it taking forever to load the player? The previous version was very fast, no problems. T...
