Yes I've done that..it says:

Yes did that...still nothing...when I try to open the file there is no response from VLC

The file I'm trying to play is ok cos it plays in Media player Classic...any ideas?

wont do anything..no matter how i try to open the file it does nothing...will open vlc player but all i get is a blank screen///btw where is the log file located?

it's there but it doesn't do anything...vlc player was working fine up to recently then this started...i did a system restore but to no avail..so i uninstalled vlc and reinstalled an older version..seems ok now

I record from a digital tv receiver to a usb drive or flash drive. The files have a .ts extension but when i try to play the with vlc player they just won't play...any ideas?

hi, I got vlc player on Windows 7..when I open a file it plays fine in the taskbar but won't maximise..any help would be greatly appreciated. If i hover the mouse over the icon in the taskbar i can see the video playing but i cannot get it to maximise.
