A friend downloaded some mp4 (from his phone camera) files of a concert he was at. VLC plays the first few seconds OK, then the video freezes and the audio continues. They play perfectly in Windows Media Player.

I really like VLC but having an issue with one DVD in particular. I really wanted to use VLC's slow down feature with this DVD, but only get a black screen with the VLC icon in the middle(no sound, either).
