I experience frame loss in VLC 1.2 in videos that are playing fine in VLC 1.1.11. It happens while heavy hardware consuming parts of the tested videos (e. g. if I turned off GPU accelerated decoding and played those in VLC 1.1.11 it would start losing frames there too).
