How do I add encoding support, I am using source from git://git.videolan.org/vlc-ports/android.git.
I tried by changing the main configure.sh that didn't work. I guess its only options for libvlc.

I cant get libvlc_audio_set_channel to work, The function call result is -1, also libvlc_audio_get_channel fails and returns 0.
I am using vlc 1.1.10. Is there a known issue with these functions ?

I need to stream video files ( unicast udp ) and I want the transcoding process to remove one of the audio channels in the file ( left/right ),
the player opening the file should receive sound only in one speaker ( left/right )

Is it possible to make vlc play audio to only one of the speakers left/right from commandline ?

I found the problem, I used it like this: --sout-x264-tune=zerolatency
and it worked only from the command line,
but when using it like this: venc=x264{tune=zerolatency} it works also from libvlc

the sout-x264-tune doesn't work when I use libvlc.
If i use it from the command line it works fine.

Is this option not supposed to work with libvlc ?
