thanks for the deets however, it isn't working. in preferences i have the option to set the video images snapshot to png or jpg, and to set the directry for where they will save. and i can switch the output module to image video output as well. BUT under: preferences>video>output modules>image file ...

hi all i've got a downloaded .avi of a bird flying that i am hoping to use to create a hand-drawn animation from. so far, it'll only play in vlc on my mac (os 10.4.6 with QT 7.0.4). i can't figure out how to get this to either pause then frame advance OR export to a format QT can play, so i can fram...
