Strange, very strange - almost everything understood incorrectly Would be more correctly "it"? Would be more correctly to say the exact nickname of the person (and by he I think you meant VLC_help . I used "he" to denote that my "he" is not the same person as your 'he...
No he was not. It was about the graphical interface. I was interested in the opportunity to make a given speed standard . From the specified command (vlc - rate) need to enter it into the console every time. "No he was not.": Yes "he" was yes ;) Look: by mederi » Sat Oct 22, 201...
Of Course! I would not want to delete the %appdata%\vlc folder like the first guy told me to do! I said: "And of course you wouldn't want to remove appdata folder!" (which ( of course ) do not belong to VLC) "the first guy" told you to remove %appdata%\vlc folder which is comple...
2 ... or at least do that speed is not a one-time, and a constant standard . That question was already answered to you (and not by me) - read your own thread from the beginning! 3 Can I increase the playback sound with x4 to x8-x32 ... ? I think VLC do not accept more than 400% (1024 raw value) for...
%appdata% is (of course) the environment variable which points to your appdata folder. And of course you wouldn't want to remove appdata folder! If you see vlcrc file you are in %appdata%\vlc Go Up one level and delete (or move elsewhere) the vlc folder. P.S. I don't see why you can't open the vlc...
I don't think you are doing anything wrong. Your 2 files: Red-and-beep-in-the-end-DV-PAL.avi Red-and-beep-in-the-end-MPEG2-PAL.mpg ... both play OK in Windows Media Player and Media Player Classic (installed by K-Lite_Codec_Pack_710_Mega.exe) meaning I always hear the beep and in 80-90% of replays...
Why don't you just put the subtitle file next to the video file and rename it to match the name of the video?
In this case the subtitle file will be opened automatically.
Regardless or whether or not it HAS an icon (which it certainly does), it doesn't show it , which is the essence of the discussion. Do you still have this problem?? Didn't you follow this suggestion?: http://smallvoid.com/article/windows-icon-cache.html that page has many fixes, that might work. If...
I think you can try to "Play" with the Player ;) Since the problem with MP4 appears to be in plugins - Try to mix the two VLC versions. I see 2 ways to do that: 1) Copy vlc.exe 0.8.6.h to the folder vlc-1.1.11 (vlc.exe will be older, all the other files (e.g. DLLs) will be newer) 2) Rena...
Thanks for your input and I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, however, I wasn't talking about your .exe file at all. I was talking about mine . When I navigate directly to VLC's folder, vlc.exe does not show any icon - only the stock image. But your file is the same as mine (and everybody else's)! ...
How about Snapshot ? It should be possible in all circumstances, but I cannot get it onto the player. Snapshot is standard button - just Enable/Check: View -> Advanced Controls And you can add it to "Fullscreen Controller" but it will take Snapshot in the original 1:1 size http://prikachi...
http://wiki.videolan.org/WindowsFAQ-1.1.x#Why_does_VLC_only_give_black.2C_white_or_garbled_.28or_other_visual_errors.29_video_output.3F I don't get blank black screen. I get the default cone screen. Does this method also solve that? I ask because I already reinstalled 0.8.6.h version. If that metho...
So View -> Customize doesn't work? Not so much a matter of doesn't work, but how do I do it? The FAQs don't seem to mention View>Customise. I can compose a line of tools, but then what? How do I get them on to the player? The buttons for Next & Prev are standard to the VLC interface but they ap...
... would like to know how to "reset VLC settings by removing %appdata%\vlc folder". From Run start CMD prompt Type Set (and hit <Enter>) Scroll up and look for line like this: APPDATA =D:\Documents and Settings\A & L\Application Data (it will be different on your computer!) Go to tha...
What do you mean by "there are no videos at all"? How did you try to play a video? (Double-click on file, Drag & Drop, Ctrl+O ?) What format is the file (e.g. .avi .mp4 ...)? What do you see (e.g. black window?)? Ctrl+P -> Video - what are the settings for Output, ...(Overlay), Use h...
What happens if you play the same DVD disk on another computer?
What happens if you play a DVD on your computer using any other player? (e.g. Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, ...)
I'm not sure if you misunderstood me or just didn't read my post. The problem is not with shortcuts, I have already pointed them to favicon.ico, the problem is with the .exe file itself. The .exe file does not have any icon and since it is a compiled executable I don't really know how to add an ico...
Yes it is checked. Does VLC Player actually support AVC files? Do I need to purchase a separate codec such as CoreAVC? Can you play this file on your system using any other player? Can you play this file on another system (faster CPU & GPU)? These parameters are too demanding on the hardware: M...
In fact your sample.avi file have several other long parts/places filled with zeros. (I searched for 512 consecutive zeros = 256 zero bytes) I checked a few of my .avi files and they have parts filled with zeros only at the beginning and sometimes at the end. I must have a hard drive or transfer p...
Sure: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12510849/sample.avi That skips near the 0:17 mark. The file is broken . It has several zeroed sectors at this offset: http://picbg.net/u/65251/47727/587236.png You can see also that because of these broken/empty sectors the image is also distorted after ~0:13 I tried i...
I believe you since the screenshot shows that the temp file is created by VLC. I tested with VLC 1.1.11 under Vista 32 bit, but there shouldn't that kind of OS related differences in Win32 builds. It looks like this is NOT only related to VLC I tested the same TV link in Windows Media Player - and ...
