thanx for the replies,
i doing this on a LAN means the decoder is also on the same network
so do not think its a speed problem. Although if I slow the bitrate i am able to capture the video but for audio VLC gives msg
audio starving... playing silence.
Any help.

most of times it saves only for first 3-4 seconds, sometimes although it
saves properly. I have tried both rstp and http.

Now I have problem, which is,
I am getting a H264 stream and if I play with VLC, VLC is playing it.
But when I try to stream it, it does not work.
Tell me what to do.
Btw the error it gives is
main warning: trying to send non-dated packet to stream output!

I am trying to capture a video through an endcoding device. The VLC captures one stream of 2-3 seconds only. How can I record the whole video. Remember the machines are on LAN.
