Note: this is not the general problem with flv videos that was addressed in 0.9.x (or whatever). I resolved the issue by downloading the .flv and playing it from my hard disk. But since that's annoying (and possibly violates youtube's policies?), it would be nice to see this addressed.

Hi, I am using VLC 1.1.11 on a Mac running OS X 10.5.8. I got Youtube videos to play without crashing VLC by updating youtube.lua, using the replacement code provided on these forums last month.
