SDI or normal input?

I would like to use the HDMI input.

Preferably Windows, but I do have a Linux machine.

I would like to capture from the Intensity pro to stream via our network. - I'm not sure if I understand "Input or output?" correctly, hope this answers your question.

I also require VLC to work with Blackmagic Intensity Pro. Any progress?
