Do you know ~ how much RAM is needed? Am guessing this is not a problem for the Note 3

Also is there an Android App that can measure the CPU and RAM load for MPEG-2?

Forgot to mention in original post that I hope there is a way to get analogue video/audio output to a TV using standard mini video plug to RCA jacks.

I have done this with my Canon digital camera and have the necessary video/audio cables.

My Windows XP display is set at 1280x768 but can play 1920x1080 videos but the SnapShots are the size of my display (1280...) instead of 1920...

Is there any way to set VLC to save the original video size (ex 1920...) SnapShots?

Have downloaded the same MP4 Video only files in 720p and 1080p and corresponding audio (MP4a) to test if I can notice the difference in quality.

How do I get VLC to combine a MP4 video only and MP4a audio file and play it?

Have tried a few times to save audio from CD, and DVD to MP3 using Save/Export but the audio files will not play on my MP3 player. Tried these audio files on some friends MP3 players and none will play them. Did a forum search using MP3 and found http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=108...

I also would like to use the VLC Frame by Frame feature.

Have not tried VLC ver 2.0.1 so do not know if this problem has been corrected.

If this is still a problem, how do I volunteer to be a Beta Tester concerning this?

Downloaded and installed the latest version of VLC and tried Key "e" for frame-by-frame.
