not able to find most of the files mentioned in http://wiki.videolan.org/ARM-XCompile i am using ubuntu 11.04 on host pc and my kit works on kernel 2.6.32 it says # linux-2.4.19.tar.bz2 # patch-2.4.19-rmk4.bz2 does it mean that i have to compile kernel 2.4.19 for the kit, or something else? regards.

how do i get the vlc player into my angstrom linux.

there is no such doc by compulab.. they say refer to videolan for support and this does not fall in their support scope.
