What is the best YouTube video that shows you how to configure the settings? I see about 10 to choose from and they are all a little different. Hopefully someone here that is knowledgeable can vouch for one that I can use.

How can I get VLC to show the playlist automatically when I open VLC and playing several videos at once? When I go to Tools > Preferences, Display playlist tree is checked. I am not sure what's going on.

What seems to be the issue?

I run Windows 10 Pro. 8700k, 1080, 16 GB.
