I am currently trying to make a static build on VLC so that I am able to use libvlc.a. Currently if I build vlc with dynamic linking, libvlc.so is not the folder ../lib which then leads to my confusion about how to link to libvlc.so using options such as -lvlc in the .pro file in Qt, if it does not ...

I have successfully compiled vlc from source code, but I am stucked when I try to link the local libvlc into Qt.

Say I am using the vlc.h from current directory, and I am linking -lvlc from the local lib folder, but I still can't it working.
