Re: play the same video in between videos

I'd say this only works for in-order-playlists.. where you set up the repetition of x by hand:
  • a
  • x
  • b
  • x
  • c
  • x
  • .
  • .
  • .
  • z
  • x
Settings in preferences then:
tick 'Show Settings' [All]
tick [Repeat All]

Re: vlc will not open file

Then you should state which OS you're using..?

The only generic file I can see in that folder seems to be "vlc-qt-interface.ini". Might try to search for it on your computer to find the folder?

I'm out of ideas.. good luck.

Re: vlc will not open file

You open 'Windows Explorer' and steer it to '<your systems drive letter here>:\Users\<your windowse user name here>\AppData\Roaming\vlc'

For me (Win7 Home Premium 64Bit) this would look like 'C:\Users\JoanTheSpark\AppData\Roaming\vlc'

Re: level volume for all files?

Hm.. it seems this functionality IS ACTUALLY ALREADY built into VLC. What did I do to find this? I downloaded Audacity + the ffmpeg im/export lib (get it to read the video containers) and looked at the wave-form display.. ACDC - Thundstruck (most of the files wave-forms I got look like this): http:/...

Re: level volume for all files?

Looks like aacgain won't help me.. 70% of the files are mpeg 2 layer I or II.

Re: level volume for all files?

I ran into the same problem (music videos from youtube) and it seems to be related to 'replay gain tags' in the files that replay gain is based up on. Anyone know how to manipulate those tags in video containers, or create them at all? As far as I understand it you would need to use the [Track] sett...
