We need this feature ASAP.

I have too much trouble in Linux trying to install what user meredi said above, the VLC Plugin "srpos"; also, the "Remember Position" VLC extension is not working despite trying everything.

I have version 1.2.0-pre1 Twoflower and I don't see any option to do it. Where is it?

I only can choose Preferences and modify the size there, but I don't see any changes in the size of the subtitles unless I restart VLC.

Hey, please add this feature: Resize the subtitles without restarting VLC.

You can do this with SMPlayer, why not with VLC? With SMPlayer you can even resize the subtitles while the movie is playing by using shortcuts.

Add this feature, at least in Linux. Pretty please... Thank you, developers!

Maybe it's a problem with your video card. Have you tried uncheking "Use video acceleration" in your VLC settings?

It would be good if VLC sent a message like: "This video requires age verification" or similar.

VLC doesn't open this URL (it's a movie uploaded by an official distributor): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PAhbcy8mP4

It doesn't even show an error message.

@Rémi Denis-Courmont I didn't know that. I had taken the modified (by Casketizer) youtube.lua and renamed it as youtube.luac, since that's its name in Linux. That was my error, renaming it, but now knowing what you told me I kept it as a "lua" file and it's working now. BUT, I have another...

I have VLC 1.2.0 from the Nightly build (Ubuntu) and my luac can't be edited or read (it shows just random characters). The link that c_cinq gave me viewtopic.php?f=14&t=92502&start=20#p307353 is from the Windows forum where the lua file is readable and editable.

@c_cinq: the luac in Linux (/usr/lib/vlc/lua/playlist/youtube.luac) is not editable as in Windows: if you try to open it there's only strange characters, nothing we can do there. And replacing your new youtube.lua for the youtube.luac I have doesn't work either.

@c_cinq, but this is the Linux subforum, you are presenting me a Windows solution that doesn't work in Linux. Thanks anyway.

When is this gonna be fixed? I don't like to use flash to watch long YouTube videos and playlists. Thanks in advance!
