I just uninstall CaldelAir plug-in (it was in the System Preferences), restart my iMac and I can use a Remote Control in VLC player again

I had the same problem. Thanks to your advice I could solve it I just uninstall CaldelAir plug-in (it was in the System Preferences), restart my iMac and I can use a Remote Control in VLC player again
