Download this one vlc-stable-x86_64-20120116-0316.zip ,open the zip file double click on the VLC icon and the vlc player is starting . It works just fine for me.

Did you put on use s/pdif in in your preferences?

i just tested the deselecting function in preference=interface but it doesn't work. They made it basic in osx Lion that if you put an app in full screen mode it will be displayd on your primairy screen.

I have a question in OSX Lion a full screen app will be displayed on your primairy display. My experience with testing VLC 1.2 so far is. If i want to watch a movie on my samsung tv in full screen the movie apears on my mac screen and not on my tv. Are you guys gonna fix this because in VLC 1.1.12 e...

Can anyone tell me when VLC 1.2 is comming out?

Is OSX development death?

It's a VLC is issue, i ask myself when they gonna fix it. It looks like the OSX divission of VLC is sleeping at this moment because afther august the 12th there has been no new nightly builds for OSX.

No vlc nightly builds afther the 12th of august, I hope they fix it soon or otherwise they gonna loose a lot of users.

For the mean time i use XBMC it plays everything including subtitles.

Yes that is possible, Normally it works fine by me. But afther installing Lion All digital output from VLC is not working, It only put's stereo sound through my receiver. I hope they gonna fix it soon. At this moment i am using XBMC media player and 6.1 DTS ES is working perfect with this program.
