VLC starting without controls or context menu access.

Hello... I recently changed the skin to eDark.vlt while in an Enlightenment session. VLC played for a while and then crashed. I had to kill -9 the process. I was dragging system to a stand still. Now, in both Enlightenment and KDE, VLC starts without any controls, menu, context menus, kb shortcuts.....

Re: Installation on opensuse 13.1 vlc-codecs

You've probable already resolved your issue, but... others may want to know possible resolution... Add repo (repository) for PackMan... ftp://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/pub/mirrors/packman/suse/openSUSE_13.1/ (change the version to yours, 12.2, 13.2 etc) *note: you can navigate up to parent directory (/pub...

Re: this is making me nuts. Meta Data Fonts - Not UTF-8

there are a lot of tools to do just that

I think I've used http://www.zhoufeng.net/eng/id3iconv/ when I had a problem like that

Re: this is making me nuts. Meta Data Fonts - Not UTF-8

if this 'amazing' 'file manager' Dolphin (шит) did even a fraction of what it's supposed to do, this wouldn't be necessary.

So, Thank you.

Re: this is making me nuts. Meta Data Fonts - Not UTF-8

May be you know of an openSuSE, KDE or konqueror 'plug-in' or app. that will let me edit the ID3 meta data from my filemanager (konqueror or dolphin which i hate) and Not have to load them in VLC?

Thanks again,
Landis.

this is making me nuts. Meta Data Fonts - Not UTF-8

I went through this years ago with openSuSE 9 and Amroka. I can not read or replace the meta data (information) of files i did not produce, but were most likely encoded on a microsucks windows machine. In this image you can see the original text data in Mixed encoding as I got it from ?. http://land...
