It's ok - started working again....

What it was is that I wanted to start videos in mute mode so disabled audio - but when i did the click and context options dissappeared - but when i re-enabled audio it still wouldn't work until I rebooted.....

I have been using VLC media player for a while now and far prefer it to WMP - however my ability to click on a video and play it (the eggtimer comes up for a second and then goes but nothing happens) and the context play options don't appear - the only change i've (knowingly) made to my computer is ...

I too have this problem - totally unpredictable - all extensions/codecs etc - the same video will sometimes open with 3d output and sometimes not.

Usually after 2-3-4 attempts at opening the same video will open in normal rather than 3d output mode....
